About Owner

Drop Tine Construction founded in 2016 by Dustin Jones, who is also the company’s General Contractor. We have built our reputation on a core value system that focuses on accountability, integrity and honesty which have contributed to our successful growth.

Dustin is a graduate of Colorado State University in Fort Collins where he obtained his degree in Construction Management. After graduating, he worked for a large general contractor on the front range before taking the plunge and starting Drop Tine.

Dustin comes from a family with a construction background. His father and grandfather founded Wright Jones Plumbing in 1970 which they sold in 1990. Dustin found inspiration for building through his father and grandfather who all contributed to his passion throughout his journey. Dustin and his wife believe that much of their success has been made possible because of continued family support and a strong faith.

We understand the difficult challenges and decisions involved with making visions come true, so we take the reins and facilitate the process necessary to put our customers into the homes and businesses of their dreams.

Building custom homes have become a specialty of Drop Tine and we offer a wide array of base floor plans from which to choose. We can take these designs and tailor them according to specific customer needs and desires. The result is a working set of plans towards the construction of your dream home.
  • When you choose Drop Tine Construction, you have a say in every step of the building process because, at the end of the day, it’s your home. If you want to skip the building process and move into a home now, we also offer pre-constructed spec homes. At any given time, we have between 1 and 4 spec model homes on the market from which to select.
  • Drop Tine will handle all of your construction needs, regardless of the size. Besides building homes and businesses, we also construct pole barns, detached garages, agricultural buildings, storage sheds, concrete slabs, additions, remodels, and other needs. Choosing the right contractor is a key step in producing quality projects.
